You could do this combo of ladder bookcases, fireplace and TV.

Your furniture seems to be too far apart ...

As far as the window, I would put an inside mount Hunter Douglas Duette shade in there and close it when I wanted to watch TV without glare. Get a Duette shade that is powered by a battery and has a remote for opening/closing.

A low console would look nice.

The height of the TV is fine (more or less eye level when sitting). Just find a console to put underneath it.

Height of tv is hard to tell in an image. I would consider lowering it though. So pt a console under.

I agree a nice long low cabinet under the TV which should be hung a lot lower on thta wall.UNless youare 7 + feet tall your eyes will not go to the center of that screen as it is .Waht do you have the cries out for display on shelves . Usually nothing and then the shelves need to be decorated. You couuld do an set of IKeas besta cabinets all across the wall with a bit of storage under them and then a pice of art on either side of the TV if you must .

I would do a solar shade in that that transom since the light will over time affect the flooring and maybe even glare during the day .

I second Beferly's idea of painting the end wall a daker color like charcoal. It looks awesome!

Why is the TV there at all? I don't see seating that warrants a TV. Nothing faces that wall...

very simple. get a consoles that is longer than the tv ( tv is usually 2/3rds the size of the console) and place beneath it. make sure the space between tv and console isn't too great.

I think adding some architectural interest to that wall by way of built ins would be nice. A console would end up lining up with the end tables you have back there and IMO that would make it look like you have multiple pieces of furniture stacked against that wall. With built ins you can place tables and lamps in front of them as if it is an anchor.

To remedy the all white I would also have the back of the shelves papered in a grasscloth or other textured solid. I chose blue grasscloth because you have a blue pillow sitting on the sofa so I am assuming you like the color. You could choose a natural grasscloth or any color of your liking.

If you want the vaulted ceiling lines to stahd out more you can take the paper to the ceiling.

I love what Design Interior did w/the last picture. That would be perfect w/your ceiling and the light you have.

If you guys can DIY, there is a site that shows how to make this exact console/book case set up using premade oak cabinets.

I suggest a long low TV cabinet and lower the TV which is too high on the wall. You can install a roman shade (electric) on the window and place it above the window to make the window seem higher. Install sconces on the wall on each side of the TV. A more colourful rug would give the room personality.

Just being picky but this is a clerestory window. Transoms are above a window or door.

Sitting here, watching my TV…the TV is much larger than it appears in the pictures. Weird…my cabinet is counter height, so the TV is not at eye level, but that’s fine, and placing it lower would look weird with the high ceilings.
