We have LifeProof Engineered hardwood flooring purchased from Home Depot. It's a vacation residence and almost 1 year old. It's holding up very well so far. This comes in many colors. Ours is Shenandoah Oak 7.5" wide.

For lvp or laminate there's a YT video or two on checking scratch resistance with the tynes of a fork. Also see how easily the tongue breaks off. See products at Floor and Decor. Flooret has good quality direct sales.

Hello. We chose Flooret vinyl planks in 2019. We live in a rural area with two large dogs and dirt, mud, snow, cinders etc that get tracked in have had practically zero impact on the floors. They still look new and we are very pleased with the look and performance of the product. Consider ordering samples from multiple companies to compare. Good luck.

I'm currently installing ~1000sqft of LVP at my place and I'm glad I chose Flooret. I had installed laminate (Armstrong) and two other different LVP brands (Gaia and Gemcore) before, and out of all these, Fooret is definitely the best in terms of installation experience. The corners just don't break like the others did and the material is noticeably better quality. Very easy to connect the pieces tightly once you get the hack of it. I'm impressed, and definitely recommend it. The ~1000sqft are coming at ~$4/sqft, so my pocket is thankful too.
