Can you attach the door to the bottom pullout? I put after-market pullouts in the kitchen cabinets when we bought out current house (as a temporary measure, until we remodeled the kitchen and put in all drawers). You may have to add some side bracing to support the door.

It is a pantry cabinet with pull-out shelves inside, so not the same as what you have.

Since it's the inside of the cabinets, perhaps you could just add clear contact paper to the center panels of pantry doors. No one will see it except you and it might create a protective barrier between the pullouts and doors.

PPF - Thank you for this. I had the Blum ones on my previous cabinets, but my contractor thinks they will do more damage than the pull-out shelf would to the painted cabinet door if they hit the door. I had stained wood doors before so I didn't have an issue with paint rubbing off because there was no paint! I think I will try those Scotch rubber pads you have in your graphic and see how they work. Thanks!

I'd also see if you can get the hinges swapped out for ones that open a lot wider - these look like barely 105' and 160' would give you a lot more leeway in getting the door open enough to pull the shelves without damage. Otherwise, I'd search for some kind of stick-on thick plastic protector strip (clear) at each shelf level on the doors.

Julie - Thanks! The doors do open wider. I just stopped them at this point, but they go much wider.

@HU-241547291 -Thank you so much! I am going to try the silicone pad suggestion, and I just bought three different types - circles and strips - to see what works best. I will also look into felt strips if these don't do the trick!
