I know how much better homemade flour tortillas are, so I tried making corn tortillas a few times, both hand-rolling and with a press, and I mostly just made a mess. :)

There was a post here recently about making corn tortillas, and I think the trick I needed to know was to use a large baggy to cover the dough for using the press. I made fish tacos on Friday, and it would have been the perfect time to try again. Hopefully, I'll try again soon!

I bought a package of six inch round parchment papers (they come in packages of different sizes for larger tortillas too) from Amazon, not very expensive and you only use 2 per tortilla session because you peel them off and reuse them. Makes using the press much easier and less messy.
