Aside from that? The "go with" is first your layout, Appliances, storage, comfortable clearances , in other words the function. Then? A harmonious marriage of flooring, counter tops and cabinetry finish, but first comes first.

The other selections, matter as much as the slab, and in a perfect world, are viewed WITH the slab, in person. Along with layout taken to the shop, and will there be seams, where are the seams......etc.

Think about the layout of your kitchen and where the more prominent veining would be placed. Do you love the idea of seeing more movement and contrast there, or would you be pleased by seeing a more subtle countertop?

First you only need one slab? I think Taj has been done to death but without any context who knows. I would rarely start a kitchen design with the counter choice so with nothing to go by you need to provide a lot more info

I have found Taj Mahal to be hard to photograph. Having bought 9 slabs for 2 houses, so I know they are warmer in person than the photo.

For a larger kitchen I would use the first slab for a large island and the quieter slabs for perimeter counters with direction changes.

They both look like decent slabs, so do you want a quiet look or more busy look?

Haven't you posted several threads asking the same question? That tells me you don't really know what you want the final look of your kitchen to be. Think about the overall feeling/look you want for the kitchen and then choose the slab that gives you that.

The first slab is the statement slab which would be ideal to use at an island. The second slab is the slab you use for the majority of your kitchen.

As others have stated, it is hard to give advice without seeing what the size looks like.
