Vesell sink..(you are going to be sorry...gorgeous, but messy, messy, water splashes, from experience). Make sure that the mirror clears the top of the highest point of the faucet by 6/7/8" so that water doesn't splash onto the mirror.

Had to get separate picture of the lights. They are 84" above the floor.

The lights are horrible both style and function. As for the mirror I need to see the whole room

I like the lights. Not much to see in the room. It is 5 feet deep and 4 feet wide. Toilet is on same wall as counter. Wall color is the same as what you see.

Get rid of those lights. Many told you that in your previous post. Put them in a hallway.

Lol. I didn't ask for advice about the lights. Yes, advice was presented in a previous post. It was rejected in that same post.

    This reply makes #3.

I redid this powder room a while ago. I decided on a gently tilted brass one from Amazon. I’m short so the height of the mirror matters to me.
Having trouble uploading it to Houzz right now.

I can visualize what you're describing. I can see where a tilting mirror would be necessary, especially if you need to raise bottom of mirror to avoid water splashes.

Well continue to have an ugly bathroom since you reject so much advice.

Yep. Another case of ESOI (exaggerated sense of importance)

I've read some of your responses to posted dilemmas and you give good advice. Too bad about your own dilemmas though where you reject advice given that would only help.

It makes no difference to me if you reject what I post. I'm calling it as I see it - ugly!

By the way - my sense of importance is not defined by an OP accepting or not accepting what I say on a public forum.

if our advice isn't graciously accepted, and you continue to fight back about suggestions, then why ask for advice? Why do you care? doesn't matter what color you paint that room or what mirror you decide on, those lights will ruin everything.

seriously?? you really think this looks good? Looks like you're lighting a runway path.

Two small downward sconces would be an easy change out.

So, just go get what you like and forget asking for advice.

    Heh heh.

I see you deleted your previous comment. You gave me some information in response to my deliberately narrow request. You asked for pictures, which I sent. I also sent a picture of the lights because you mentioned them. I even threw in a tidbit about their mounting height, which I'm sure you'll agree, is higher than the usual sconce height.

I guess the comment would have looked strange in combination with your diatribe.

I'll give you the benefit of doubt and assume you have not seen the other post mentioned by shirlpp. It is named "yet another powder room". I started it in early March. The lights have been cussed and discussed in detail. No need to rehash here.

    Enjoy!

You need a different shape on the mirror. Well, you don’t ”need” it- but I think it could give the space more visual interest. The round vessel sink, with the big round mirror, is sort of matchy-matchy. And in general, from a design perspective, it is good to have a mix of shapes in a space, for balance. You could do a rectangle. But I am also thinking that some kind of diamond shape could be interesting- for a unique take on things- plus, to also work with the lights.

After reading most of the advice my advice go do what you want . The old adage of" if you don't want the answer do not ask the question" is a perfect one for you

    Patricia,

As far as lights go, I didn't ask the question LOL.

    ^^ True.

Patricia will likely feel better about things if you use 4K bulbs and paint the bathroom BM “Healing Aloe”.

In the meantime- I think you did ask about mirrors.

The diamond/rhombus shape was just a thought I had for something unique, that could also incorporate the lights in an interesting way.

As I mentioned, you could also use a rectangle- which I think would be a good contrast, as well as balance, to the round vessel sink. I also think this shape would possibly work better than the round does with your lights.

You can use painters’ tape on the wall- to get a sense of sizes and shapes that look best to you.

You could also of course use a round mirror; if you are just wanting someone to give you a specific size for another round mirror, based upon your measurements- then hopefully, someone will do that.

The rhombus looks really cool. I never would have thought of that. Now, if I can figure a way to attach to studs. I had planned on using J-channel on top and bottom of a rectangular mirror. Stud placement forced the round mirror a bit off center and I thought the channel would allow me to adjust left/right. Rotating clips on channel might work. Lots to think about.

How utterly uncalled for Freedom BTW rarely suggest Healing Aloe in bathrooms

You shouldn't need studs to hang a mirror. I hung very heavy 24x36 mirrors with monkey hooks. Zip toggles would also provide all the strength you need.
