What style of window trim added to the siding areas would coordinate with the style of the house and the windows in the stone area? Window trim color would be painted one of the tan medium-range stone colors to tie the stone and siding areas together and add interest to siding areas. Plain flat 6" trim? Keystone header?Any header or sill? Or keep it simple?
Background: the contractor completely removed original stone and stucco to repair rotted plywood/ wood, added all proper waterproofing, and added siding (to match the other three sides of our house) and stone. We are happy with the new look except the siding areas look plain and unfinished. Contractor must remove the new siding to add new window trim correctly. He's waiting for me to tell him what I want and I am stumped design-wise!
