Picture?

I keep looking for Monarch eggs on milkweed because I want those. I don't see eggs on the roses.

So sorry it did not attach and I didnt realize it. not sure if I should take the bite present on the leaf as an omen.

Leaf footed bugs eggs? Not sure though.

I sill keep an eye on them. will also take other pictures from different angles and give chat gpt another try

Sheila we seeded our fields with lots of wild flowers including some milkweed, but I havent seen any Monarchs yet. Fingers crossed for some butterflies. My new garden had the worse case of thrips I have seen in several years, being patient and hopping the good guys show up soon.

Dianela, My garden is having a bad case of thrips, too. I posted picture of 2 maybe aphids and Moses said it’s wooly aphids. I was hoping the terrible winter and spring awakening would lower insect problems this year. Also, today I found my first Japanese Beetle of the season!

Ohhh no Kentucky I sympathize so much. I found the first Japanese beetle here yesterday. I want to do Milky spore, but havent done it. It takes several years to see a difference, but I want to try it. So many pests to deal with in the garden. I hope you dont get many beetkes this year, I hate them.
