IMO those wall sconces are not supplying the best quality of light for your room.

Another option is to change the wall sconces to picture lights over the framed images.

I would remove or re-position the sconces. They force your smaller art into a position that does not look balanced in the room.

We have the ”Kenwood” bar cabinet from Room & Board, ours is in a charcoal stain but others available. Nice because it’s more substantial & provides a lot of storage space. Btw, I think the two smaller pieces of art need to be repositioned, perhaps displayed vertically? As a pair,,,,, hmmm?

Just curious, why red? Guess it goes with your colors but the green in the art + red suggests Christmas to me. I like some reds, especially the darker, richer ones ….. but I think something else …..

I would do a more subtle color on the wall and add the red as accents with accessories along with some greenery. When you paint, paint the wall vents to help camouflage them.

I think the sconces are all wrong for the space ,the space has so much forced symmetry that maybe one more table like the one on the right ti complete the wall. As for an accent wall I usually choose a colorfrom the art that is the least amount in the art so maybe the gold color , but honestly I would not do an accent wall.. The green Emily shows is not the same green as in the art so not a good choice. As for red it makes a great small accent to use but not a whole wall. If you love the scaonces then no other pieces of art on that wall and more dramatic sconces..You definately need more lighting and not squat lamps , you need dramatic IMO. I might even have a fab chandelier in that space or something like thiss for the sconces for sure

It's easy to try out a couple bright colors: buy some posterboards or wrapping paper and tape them to the walls. If you find the bright colors work great, fine. If they upstage the rest of the room, then choose another color.

A rich mustard would be gorgeous! and remove the small wall art on each side and amp up those sconces!

I wouldn't do an accent wall, which would take away some of the impact of the art. Usually accent walls work best when there are no door openings or painted to make a TV screen disappear. Instead careful choose some great patterned and solid sofa pillows in blacks and greens. Check society6.com which has loads of graphic pillows and throws.

Also remove the small art pieces to keep the art work as the focus.

I think you should balance and put a cabinet on either side of the art. Put the orange table between the two gray benches and choose a color like this for the two cabinets. This is B.M. Trout Gray...not sure if this is quite right (fickle monitors). Two in a high gloss might work?

The first thing I see…is that none of tables are accessible while seated in the low deep seating…function should be the first consideration in a contemporary setting like this like this

Celery’s last visualization demonstrates that point well..deep seating is comfortable while seated…less so when you have to get up and out

Especially if you want to reach your drink…or get up gracefully

I would also want to create matching doorways and entrances…so the striking architecture looks more intentional

Without seeing the whole room…an arrangement of couches facing each other and chairs facing each other ….with the big table in the center….could create a very comfortable grouping
