IMO the room needs some fine tuning

• The drapery panels should have a bit more contrast and start at the ceiling
• The TV is mounted too high on the wall
• NOTHING should be placed above the electric fireplace
• I know people like clocks where they watch TV, but they often look better when they make an artistic statement and not appear so very utilitarian in appearance.
• Have one uplighted plant instead of a grouping of them
• Select a tall tree for near the window
• I think the area could be more exciting in appearance and I'd try to like the beige from the wingback chairs with the gray from the sofa/sectional in the colors of the rug.

Painting or wallpaper is also an option for the one wall.

Without seeing the rest of the room I’m a bit thrown off by the wingback chairs and modern ? sofa . The scale seems off, as well as the style. please send photos of rest of the room in the comments of your post.
