The fans from Uruguay made the mistake of putting a team shirt on the Rocky statue, a curse well known by Philadelphians. Their team lost, of course.

I wonder how the Scots will make out in their next city, which I believe is Miami.

How fun! can we nominate the Tartan Army for the “FIFA Peace Prize- Football Unites the World”? According to Google it is an annual award established by FIFA to recognize individuals for exceptional contributions to peace and global unity”

I saw a funny article that Boston has petitioned to become part of Scotland. I love seeing sports fans having good fun and bringing their enthusiasm to other folks while they are at it!

This morning I saw a clip of the Miami police reacting to a Scot placing a cone on a statue. Hopefully that was a one off.

I've been enjoying the Scots and Dutch, but most of what I am seeing too. The World Cup experience has been going different from what I was expecting -- and that's mostly good.
