Do you mean the porch railings? Your porch looks to be above 30"' which means removing the railings puts it out of code.

As far as hardware goes do the gold. Bronze will not show up against the black.

Our front door hardware is from Ashley Norton and is has withstood our FL weather pretty well since we built nearly 4.5 years ago.

I did get a bit of pitting in the finish when we got a direct hit by a hurricane and we got a lot of salt spray on the house, but that isn't typical weather!
