Out of curiosity, I went to look. We had an aquarium for years and I did not remember ever treating with something I would take. I saw on ebay a couple of things that are prescribed for humans, but people should note that purity, safety and dosing are not scrutinized their. I didn't do the math - I have no idea what the cost translates to, but people who have insurance or a pharmacy that will use a GoodRx card will likely do better there. What I did note is that neither are the recommended treatments for what I suspect people are buying them for and they could have unintended consequences - possibly make things worse. It is truly sad there are people who feel they have to resort to pet and livestock treatments rather than human medical care.

I agree. Sadly there is a rapidly growing sector in the U.S. who do not have and cannot afford insurance, and who also cannot afford the doctor visit to get a presription.

There was a time in my life that access to fish meds were a health saver. I learned about them from a military wife. I thought that eBay access had been shut down a few years ago.
