Thank you both! Jan Moyer - this is incredibly helpful. I’ve never used F and B before and I’m hearing different things about whether they truly can be matched with another brand of paint. I’m leaning towards not and will make it clear with the builder what we want. The plan is to get sample pots and apply to the walls.

I have never used F&B, but over the years I have settled on the sheens I like: for the walls, a washable matte; for the trim, satin, and for the ceiling flat.

If you go onto the F&B website there is a lot helpful information for wall/trim/ceiling decisions, but also consider the room’s usage, as you may want to apply something different.
