Definitely blend them in since they’re not something to be highlighted.

My fascia/soffit are dark brown and my gutters are brown/bronze.

My stucco is off-white and my downspouts are the closest off-white color the gutter company had.

You don't have brown anywhere and the very white gable trim makes brown/bronze gutters look weird on the rest of your roof.

Gray/black roof with brown/bronze gutter looks like you tried to match, but missed badly.

Keep it simple!

More or less works here because of the brown toned color of the roof.

But still don't like that you end up with a horizontal white stripe and brown stripe on the left side.

I think you should stick with white, will all the other white trim stuff you've got going on.

@chispa unfortunately windows and trim are vinyl/ pvc.And the replacement windows that the previous owner had installed have the white vinyl window mullions sandwiched between the glass...so even if I attempted to paint the white vinyl window frames a different color, the mullions would still white.😕 I love the brick cottage with the turquoise door- brown gutters look good on that house . In my scenario however, your point about the brown gutters looking like a " close-try" at matching but missed badly - is well taken. I was hoping I could minimize the amount of white on my house, but, keeping it simple might be the best suggestion. Thank you - I really appreciate

Gutters and leaders are not a design element and need to blend in. White gutters and leaders with white trim.

I recommend replacing the current 4-inch white gutters and downspouts with 6-inch matte graphite gutters and downspouts. The graphite color will complement the roof and complement the existing black details (stair railing, lamps) without looking dull and monotonous like brown.

Stick with the white trim. Your roof is a dark charcoal, and you dont need any browns clashing with it. If you really want to paint the trim, darker, then match a darker charcoal color to your roofing, so its a more cohesive look.

Why not just paint the downspouts a color close to the brick color, which in my view would be a big improvement.

You have white trim, so the gutters should remain white. In your bronze pic, the white trim around the gable is so much more prominent than the barely visible white trim on the horizontal roof. Just paint the downspout to match the brick. It doesn't matter if you get an exact match, somethin pretty close will hide it. If you don't want to paint, change the downspout to bronze and leave the gutters white.

@doods was thinking about the downspouts and am considering a rain chain in lieu of the white downspout that sits directly in front of the red brick on right side of house.

@Norwood Architects I was curious what your thoughts were on installing 6" white gutters throughout and then adding brown downspouts to blend in better with the brick. Found some photos depicting similar scenario. Thanks!

I’m not sure the brown-and-white combination is a good idea. It looks like you ran out of material.
Gutters, downspouts and other boring elements are just part of a house. Go with the traditional white and forget about them. Your house is so cute no one is looking at the downspouts.

Have decided that white is the winning candidate.

Is repainting the front door an option? I think a cuter color will enhance the brick. I have an orange brick house and had help picking mine. Here are some beautiful blues.

What I love about your exterior is the soft creamy yellow tone all around the front door. This photo shows a brick, not your color, but the idea of using that creamy color for everything thing now that is white, Downspouts included.

I think gutters should never be highlighted in white because theyre not an architectural feature of a house. Sometimes the white of the vinyl windows can be tied into some other white in the landscape - white floribunda roses for example or a white flowering tree.
