Decorating ideas for small sunroom

I have a small 10 x 10 sunroom that I need some decorating ideas for. I currently have a small round table that acts as my temp desk but I would like to turn it into a relaxing area.

i'm so jealous I can hardly post!!: ) it's beautiful! it would be tempting to clutter it up :) but I think a few pieces of comfy furniture are all you need. If you like wicker? or perhaps something more substantial, but a sofa to start and then one or two large comfy chairs. I would have plants too, but that's up to you.

Either go with the set up you have now and add a small couch under the windows, or be very, very selfish : > ) and just have a chaise for robk.

I'd slap a daybed out there so fast your head would spin!!! Perfect sleeping porch, the double advantage of which is that it provides plush seating during the day. Cut the table legs to nestle beside and you can keep using it as a desk, or for books and a cuppa, and still have room for guest seating. Lots of examples in the porch section of browse rooms above.

Add outdoor furn in woven. Add bright colored pillows. Get a love seat and two chairs. Place love seat in window with a chair on either side. Add two garden stools in a bright color like yellow, or lime green. Pier one carries. Big area rug. Add lots of pillows. Add panels on end of window where love seat will be just on ends. A bamboo shade on other side window. Dark brown. Home depot carries. Big potted palm silk in corner by door. Add small end tables next to love seat. Add wood lanterns with candles. Can you place alight In ceiling? If so go lantern type not big hang low. Over garden stools. In bronze.

Hi Rob, I think the first thing you need to do is define specifically what activities you want to do in the room! Lie back and read or nap? Sit and read? Have a table to work at too? Sit with guests and eat? Do yoga? Only then can you get proper ideas for furniture and decor... Good luck! Mary

Since you have defined that you want to relax in this space, I would keep it simple and serene. With the natural light that pours into the room, my preference would be to keep them free of obstruction and keep my window dressings simple. I would have 2 fabulous chaise longues separated by a generously proportioned round table in between with an architectural style lamp for reading. An area rug would be great to define the space. If possible, I would remove those sliders and replace them with French doors. It would add so much character. A small chest would also be a great addition to house throws and pillows.

My pick would be 2 black wicker chairs in the back corners with twill cushions in a slightly off white and a plant stand with red geraniums. A small table between the two chairs.
None of those skimpy wicker chairs, the good ones from a porch and patio store (they might be on sale now)

It is a really beautiful room that can be made just perfect!!

    1. I suggest you to put away the black desk chair, because it doesn't matches the colours, the scheme and it doesn't look relaxing. (By this I mean that it reminds of an office and offices are stressful.)

    2. On that table, you should really put a vase with flowers. The right colour I think is white/ivory, so I suggest you white roses, lilies or orchids.

    3. A couch under the windows on one side would be beautiful. Choose ivory/beige colour and same colour pillows.

look really good. (NOTE: If you choose a more simple couch, just plain white and smaller, I think you could put two, one on each side.)

    4. I think a bookcase with vintage books would be good, but most of the walls are covered in windows, so if the walls that can't be seen are empty, I suggest you add a bookcase. The

    looks amazing.

I don't think you should put anything else in it. This room looks like a little heaven so if you put too much furniture in too many colours, it will not look as peaceful. So I think the ones I said would be really good on your room. I really hope I helped, good luck with it! :)
