Mary Rast Interiors

We have had Mary Rast Interiors design two homes for us – one with a contemporary Asian theme, the other a vacation home in a modern beach style. The choice of colors was extraordinary, capturing the feeling we wanted in each room. Furniture placement enhanced the sense of space. After nearly five years, we still find ourselves drawn into the feeling of serenity that Mary was able to create. Working with Mary and her team was a delight and so easy from start to finish. We just marveled at the way she transformed our vacation home from an eclectic mishmash of rooms and furniture, into a perfect serene retreat. We like to say that the architect built us a house, but Mary made it into a home. Mary Rast Interiors magically transformed both of our homes and we can't imagine anyone having a better experience than we have had with Mary and her team.

i hired mary to plan out my downstairs for multiple purposes: family room/play room, office, guest room/bath and laundry. She asked me a lot of pertinant questions and designed the spaces to match exactly my needs. She solved the problem of a window in my office that would block much needed light to the rest of the family room if walled off and she even suggested methods of construction to mitigate any possible water damage/mildew that has been a problem. My wife, children and I are very pleased with the results. We handed the plans to our contractor who had no problems with the plans she provided. Mary is both professional and fully versed in design and construction. I would highly recommend her for any project you may have.
