How to Determine Responsibility & Next Step

File a Warranty / Rep Claim . Contact Bedrosians to inspect the broken slab. A manufacturer rep will evaluate whether the fracture was caused by factory tension or fabrication procedure

Check Fabricator Approval . Ensure your fabricator is certified or trained to cut Bedrosians porcelain, as warranties often require adherence to strict manufacturer fabrication manuals.

If Bedrosians determines the slab met factory quality standards, the fabricator is typically responsible for replacing the material.

If Bedrosians confirms a defect or batch tension issue, they will issue a replacement slab.

We did and although our fabricator was able cut other porcelain slabs from another supplier with no issues they are not taking responsibility. In fact the rep stated I should have done "better research". Unacceptable!!

Is your fabricator certified by B or trained by B? Can he show valid certification or training from another manufacturer.? You have no personal direct evidence or knowledge of any other successful work on equivalent product.

Get a list from B of certified trained fabricators in your area. Talk to one of them about your project.

I do have personal knowledge that he cuts these type of slabs with no problem. Also the rep with Bedrosians stated I as the customer should have done better research on their product. Does not sound like good customer service to me!
