Since the island cabinetry is different from the rest, I would stick with the same granite throughout. Otherwise, island will feel like an afterthought. IMO.

I suggest the one granite, for the same reasons as kimhaskell.

Stay with same granite and a light solid backsplash. I would not do a table in same stain as island. Too much dark wood. And counters will be very dark also. Have you brought granite already? Might re think color?

The table legs will be black but table top will be granite my grandmother has had one in her house for last 26 years and its still beautiful. That is why im concerned granite will be too much i wanted to do the bianco antico on island and table and a beige ish color on rest of countertops i love the kithen above but my hubby is anti black marble cuz ive tried convincing him im on the fence about doing all one color
