Built ins along one wall - open shelves, cupboards, drawers, a spot for TV and components, maybe a small desk - as much storage as you can manage. A place like IKEA has great options. How would you feel about a Murphy bed? Try and use furniture with multiple uses - a coffee table that converts into a dining table, small fold up chairs, a movable island that can be pulled out to work in the kitchen and maybe double as a table or desk. Please post a floor plan and pictures of you space.
