Make certain that what ever you buy, check that the measurements work. I had to have chairs made a little shorter to fit under my antique table, otherwise the underside of the table would have rubbed the tops of my guests laps!...not comfy!

What do you think about the Restoration Hardware Adele Chair? It looks both vintage & modern and very comfortable.

Check out the Deirdre dining chair on the www.mycandiceDesign.com site. You can customize the covering & color of the wood finish. Nice soft lines, but modern silhouette.

two red ones at the heads of the table and the rest grey or whatever the wall color is. All the same shape as the first picture. The space looks narrow and "clean" and the chairs should stay in that style. Add a dramatic center piece that you can change with the seasons for eye candy. It looks nice!!

I like your first choice, grey with nailheads, it mixes well with the tone of your space AND the curve of the chair back into the arms blends well with the legs/feet of your table. BTW...that table is awesome!

I vote for the armless white with nailheads because the armless will give you more room and the white will stand out. The simplicity will look elegant and clean.
