I'd hate to clean hairspray, toothpaste, etc. from this. Bath will be dark and dated.

Hi. If you haven't already, be sure to search ideabooks. There are some helpful ones discussing the use of "ledgestone" and some of the pictures should give you ideas. We used a tile with similar color values and used quartersawn oak for our cabinets. Good luck, gorgeous tile.

This is slate material. Here's my "two cents" of advice:

As a full wall, it will show tremendous color and surface texture - it will demand to dominate the room. If you let it do that, the room could be great! A wall of this, though, simply will not tolerate much color-texture presence from anything else in the room - without throwing the whole space into busy-busy-busy-ville.

White porcelain will look striking against it, so I'd strongly suggest that on this wall you use ONLY a white porcelain pedestal sink, your white toilet, and a simple mirror.

Keep the floor quiet - medium grey porcelain tile with very mild or no pattern, and color-blended grout lines. ...other three walls painted the lighter grey pulled from the stone. If there is a tiled shower in the room, it must be very quiet material blended with the floor.

I have never understood highlighting the toilet in white. I prefer it to blend in a little better with something off-white. If you go white, everyone will start calling it the THRONE ROOM.
