Definitely don't paint them, especially looks like they are in good condition. If you feel there's too much brick exposed, you can always hang something on the walls, once you paint the bricks, you can't really go back to their original condition, and it might affect your resale value as well.

Another vote for leave them as is...they are gorgeous!

It would be silly to purchase a loft condo with brick walls just to paint them - Might as well have bought a plain sheetrock box if that's what one intends to do.

I love the brick walls. They appear to be in great condition. Unlike my brick walls in my home which I had to paint over due to the condition and coloring.

I would leave them as-is as well. I like the exposed ducting and expposed brick with the chunky moldings, you could make a very very nice place in here.

It would be wrong to paint the brick. Don't do it - it's in great shape and it's beautiful especially in your loft. Once artwork and furnishings have gone into the space, the brick will add a wonderful textural element.

Please dont paint them. hang very large modern art on them and maybe them wont make you question them so much. You obviously dont realize....but the purchase price of your condo wasabout 4000 dollars higher then a condo without the brick. They would look ,honestly, ugly painted. In any color.

Again my vote KEEP THE BRICK! Go even more rustic, show the beams, strip the floors down to cement, then layer your favorite type of furnishings...some inspirational photos attached. Lucky devil....such amazing possibilities...

Leave the brick! If they shed sand(mortar) you can seal them with grout sealer. We used a matte or semi-gloss. Just apply with fluffy roller.
