Yes, mine is too. The repairman replaced one fan but it's still loud. Mine is dual fuel (electric oven) but I don't think that has anything to do with it. I was very surprised by the loudness of the fans, and not one of the salesmen mentioned anything about it.

I believe we have the same range and ours too is a little loud , but what I don't like is the heat that blows out when the oven in on...It's awful - I have held a paper towel in front of the blowing area and the towel will blow out straight. And there again the service tech said that is how it's suppose to be!!! I never use my oven in the summer when my A/C units are trying to cool the house. It's crazy.. Bad design.

Thanks for the feedback debating between the Thermador and Wolf. Wonder if its just a DF issue? Does anyone know how the fan and heat issues compare to the Wolf all gas is it better.same or worse? Thanks

Thermador range came with the house I bought. Whenever using the oven, hot air blows forcefully (and loudly) right out from the front of the range. Manufacturer told me it's designed that way to protect the electronic temp controls from overheating. When oven is on, It's very unpleasant trying to cook on the range top in that hot wind. Forget using oven at all during summer. I'm keeping the house but getting rid of the range.

yes, my brand new whirlpool double wall oven/microwave oven is so loud its unbearable in the dining room when it hasnt shut off yet, we have to leave the oven door open to cool off faster. i have a kitchenaid wall oven from 5 years ago that is almost silent in comparison, and i end up using that one more and more as the smaller newer double oven set up makes me crazy.

i'd love to buy something with no electronic controls so that i wouldnt have the noise.

I use my double wall ovens from Kitchenaid in the summer I can have them both on and they don't heat up my kitchen at all I also have a Bertazzoni all gas range and oven that I love but in the summer I rarely use the oven because like all commercial stoves there is a lot of heat that is why it is so important to get the best hood fan possible and even with that you will have more heat.
