The bed appears to be made round stock. Solid round bar would be heavy but last a lifetime. It has basic s scrolls with accent leafs. It was painted with a rustic finish with a faux antique copper patina finish. Not a difficult bed to duplicate. The canopy appears to be solid square bars probably for added strength when adding heavy fabrics over it. If interested in duplicating the bed , just let me know.
