It really looks as though the ceiling and trim are not the same color. Is that right? Any idea what causes that effect?

I agree vuglusker. The ceiling looks lighter than the wall but darker than the the trim. I'm also wondering what the ceiling color is.

The wall color is Benjamin Moore-Shaker Beige in the living room and a Larsen grasscloth wallcovering in the foyer and dining room.

The ceiling and trim are the same color, but the ceiling is in a flat finish while the trim is in a semi-gloss.
