You have a small round table from your daughter's room, I think? Did we use that there? If not put it on the left side of the chair with a lamp on top.

I actually like all your ornaments. I think they give the room character. I would go for a mexican kitsch kind of style which would really highlight the lovely carved crosses pictures (are they pictures of saints?) A kind of Frida Kahlo style if you know what I mean? It would even suit the lace curtains. Your room IS small so I wouldn't fight that. I would make it cute and cosy. The bed facing this way looks nice, but it looks quite stark now. I would paint the wall around the pretty curved window a lapiz blue and the rest of the walls a turquoise colour. It sounds quite bright, but the darker colours will make the walls recede a bit to the eye. I would hang all your ornaments on one wall ( probably the darker blue one) and keep the rest clear. You can wall mount the tv too to give more walking space around the bed.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting something quite different. It will just depend on your taste I guess, but I think this would look quite good. When there isn't much room to re arrange things colour is your best friend, and I think small spaces can be great because you can use stronger brighter colours without it being overwhelming.

Chair looks great in corner and tv is perfect there! Good work. Shelf table is best by bed for side stand until you find something better.

What do you think of mirror where tv used to be? Reflection of recently discovered tree lol.

Keep the faith. We will find a place for your other things.

What do you think of hanging 3 crosses above your bed. Do you have 3?

Remove all the niknaks. Get rid of the lace curtain and fan shade and the stuff on the sill. Paint the headboard white. Add two small shelves attached to the wall for night stands and add a tall (cheap walmart) mirror above each of the nightstand shelves. Add simple, unfussy buffet lamp to each nightstand shelf (on dimmers). This will give reflected light into the room that will warm up the room when dimmed but also look clean and luxe. To soften the edge between the window and the tall narrow mirror above each nightstand shelf, add a full, highly textured rich curtain panel just flanking the window. Something that has silk and velvet, to catch the light from the nightstand. On the demilune sill, pull all your crosses together and lean them on the window, asymmetrically, which would look cool!

Cd & LB its done nothing but rain ugg i have so much to do today i probably wont work on it again until tomorrow night..(while my daughter goes thru her toys to help out less fortunate before Christmas and santa brings more....)

. Church fest today, painting faces tonight & tomorrow for field day so..

like the cross idea ill have to take a picture of them so you can see if it would actually work not sure? Going to try the mirror to reflect lovely tree :)

the only thing that really bothered me last night was the amount of light streaming in from the half moon window thing ugg!!!
    it was annoying
doesn't help that out neighbor swears we land planes in the middle of the street so he wants to make sure they can see lol.
and again sorry this thread is gin-o-rmous

Good way to spend the day and good lesson for your daughter!

So, even with the accordian shade, the light bothered you?

ok so here are two options for bookcase/mirror. and here are the two tables i currently have in my daughters room?

I prefer mirror as in upper right photo

Can you "steal" tables from your daughter's room? If the 2 in her room are the same height, I would use those 2 for your sidestands.

yeah but then she wont have a tables ;( so il see what i can do and of course show you lol thanks again have a safe day today !

She really doesn't need the table by the little rocker. It could her room will look less cluttered without it.

I would pick the 2 of the 3 tables that are closest in height and use them for your sidestands.

maybe i will take one of them..

Since the room is small, you could also consider hanging the mirror also.

We will be here : ) Were you still considering hanging the mirror on the front or back of the closet door ? or on the back of the door into the room?
    robea thanked LB Interiors
no i kinda like it now by bed where tv once was... it reflects alot of the light into the room..went thru toys last night after day of face painting and movie.. so today im pretty much doing nothing although it is a beautiful day ..hope all is well with you all :) i will be back soon ..have a great day LB & CD

So, compromise with mirror would be to leave it where tv was, but hang it (remove from stand). You could remove from stand and place it against wall and see how you like it.......would give a much cleaner look and free up space.

I prefer D-rings for art and mirrors, since they don't protrude as much. But, you can use eye hooks and then simply put bumpers on the bottom back so that the mirror is not angled downward.

This is what they look like.

    http://www.carid.com/universal-trailer-hitches/curt-d-rings-2155157.html?CAWELAID=1724108414&nid=PLA&%22cagpspn=pla%22&gclid=CJfJ5c-zyLoCFQto7AodPGYAR

I also don't use wire, because I hate when art or mirrors move on the wire and are crooked. (makes it harder to hang…..oh well). But, movement won't happen if the mirror is heavy enough. But, in that case, you shouldn't use wire anyway.

You can buy D-hooks at a craft or art store. (maybe Home Depot also…..not sure). Or, if you go to an art/frame shop, I'll bet you they wouldn't charge that much to add them to the back of your mirror for you. You could call and ask.
