Regarding your questions on paint colors, it really does you no good to know what color was used. It will NOT look the same on every computer monitor nor in your room as it does in the room in the photo. Many times the paint color question is answered, only to generate the response "wow it looks greener/bluer/grayer/etc. on my walls than it does in the photo! Are you sure that's the color?" Your best bet is to try to match the color on your monitor with a color in the paint fan deck. Even then it may not look the same on the walls due to lighting, both interior and exterior, and the colors of the furnishings in the room.

Thank you, Diane Bier Interiors. You couldn't be more correct. Also, friends, you need to look at who is posting the pictures. Photographers posting their work on this sight aren't going to know paint colors or from where furniture was procured.

I ask because I like to check out the popular colors that designer's choose. Also, experienced designer's have go to colors. Completely understand your point. Just commenting this may also be why so many people wish to know room's specific paint color even though our monitors vary.
