Don't have a link but something in red for your rug would be a good match, I think. You've got some ethnic elements, and I love all the Moroccan, suzani, Turkish kilim rugs. A quick browse in eBay will bring up some beautiful rugs. Or west elm if you'd rather go new

Thank you! I have the red pillows on there now but want to change them out and add turquois, orange and different funky pillows. ! I do like the Indonesian type feel...but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars:(.

think I would be tempted to go lighter with something like this. Think it is quite neutral but adds some pattern and really lightens the space..

groveraxle....wanted to add that those "turquoise" West Elm chairs are absoLutely FABULOUS!!! They aren't really turquoise, per se, but rather a piney green blue that somehow comes off as turquoise. I bought two of them about a month ago to help "tame" a large brown leather sofa and sit on an oriental rug with rust, gray, tans and blue in it. nearby is the dining area for which I have a dark dark table and the West Elm "honey" leather chairs (honey roughly translating to orange). oh my!! it all works SO well together. And those chairs (the turquoise ones) are sooooo comfortable...and well made. Even the bottoms are finished. You have to unzip the bottom covers to attach the legs. Endorse heartily!!

Love that 2nd one from groveraxle. The colours add alot of interest. (i like them all but the oranges and blues look great together, plus is nicely ties in the floor colour without being too "matchy").

Thank you all so much ! I do love the chair and art! And rug ideas are great too! How are you able to insert rugs and art in there? That's so cool! Here's another pic of sofa....like I said, ignore the red pillows because I will want to be able to interchange them depending on the season or my mood:)

What about a shag rug of some sort? I like the cozy feel and texture it could bring...but still stuck on a color!!

Do a red carpet with similar texture as the pillows so they well.. To match your pillows

I like your existing rug. You can bring lots of color in with art, accessories, lamps and chairs.

Cream colored shag rug with pillow and art in the turquoise as previously suggested along with some rust orange would look great. I'd add a stardust mirror above the console in lieu of the feather wreath and paint your lamp base one of the accent colors. Artwork behind the couch to tie the colors together. Some pillow inspiration for you….

A leather shag:

Get a large sisal, they are neutral and go with any style. Then you can layer on top Kilims or flokatis for different seasons or when you want a change.

Thank you all for your great suggestions! My console is right next to my dining table on the same wall ....and there is a mirror by the dining table ...is it ok to put another mirror above the console table too?

Yes its ok to put another mirror nearby especially if it is a starburst mirror that is more like sculptural art than plain ole mirror. I like the zebra rug too! That could be fun and it goes great with everything so far except for the ikat pillow I suggested earlier. Def don't like that together with the zebra rug but no worries there are so many options out there :)

I'm thinking the rug could have some geometric abstract print including the color red.

One mirror is one too many, if you ask me. Do art, not mirrors.

If you want to change to turquoise and orange in the throw pillows and other accents, then look for a rug with turquoise and orange in the print. The best idea would be a rug or carpet outlet that would have samples for you to try.
