My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Since I didn't hear back from this site when I asked 4 months ago, (see above) we went ahead and purchased solar shades for our kitchen from justblinds.com If I remember correctly, they have three levels of quality and will send free swatches. Do measure carefully, I'm guessing they are not returnable.

      Thanks for the information, as we are presently looking for window coverings and weren't sure what to purchase. we've enlarged our windows so we can see the wildlife in the forest behind us, but have a strong light coming in as windows face west. I'm hoping solar shades will be the answer for us.

      I am ordering solar shades from levolor. It isnt clear to me if they offer any privacy as they are pictures that u can see thru them!
