HELP !! Painted twice and still can not get it right !! I need help with refreshing my typical 1400 sq ft ,1970's ranch style home. We have ripped out the dark wood paneling and burgundy carpet, replaced the 70's wood toned interior doors with 6 panel white doors with satin nickel hardware, painted the pea soup ( or baby poo green as my step son called it) kitchen cabinets a cream color and replaced the grape knobs with satin nickel hardware.I am replacing the countertop with a travertine laminate with waterfall edging this tax season. We installed alder wood colored laminate hardwood flooring in the living area and hallway, went over budget last year and layed gray/blue berber tile carpeting ( on clearance ) in the bedrooms instead of the typical plush tan color carpeting that was supposed to be installed by Home Depot. ): Our kitchen flooring is ceramic and mainly light tan with some gray/blue and dark chocolate colored grout although i am not quite sure this was the original color ... I guess the original homeowner only knows ....... Guest/kids bath has white ceramic flooring, white cabinetry and countertop, white medicine cabinet, white subway tile one quarter up the walls and then aqua/lt. blue ? 70's subway tile on top of the white creating a "stripe" almost center around the entire bathroom and the top of the walls are sheetrock. NOW !!! I need help with wall paint colors !!!! PLEASE !!!!!! Keeping it real and on a budget. I need bathroom color ideas because i have NO IDEA. The blue aquatic 70's striped subway tiles and all white throw me for a loop. Kitchen wall color with cream cabinets, white appliances, anticipated travertine laminate countertop, nickel hardware, and my dining table i purchased from Ashley Furniture is a counter height two toned modern/rustic table with dark brown leather parsons dining chairs and bench still for sale at Ashley's website. Ideas on Living room and hallway wall color: with alder wood colored laminate flooring, golden/nutme
