Does pool water kill the grass, and does much grass end up in pool?

Love the grass look, but we are concerned about the pool water killing the grass, and the grass ending up in the pool.

    The pool water does not kill the grass, for the most part. Lots of children splashing around all summer could hurt the grass, but this client specifically does not use their pool very often. This pool also has an automatic pool cover, for when it is not in use, and good landscapers to keep all grass out of the pool.
