Our newly Remodeled House

Built in 1925, the house needed major updates since the last time it was renovated in the 60's or 70's. We bought this house and re-configured the layout to convert the Dining/Kitchen into one big Kitchen and move the dining room in the back of the house which used to be a bedroom. We added a french door to the Dining room, to have easy access to the backyard since there was only side entrance to go to the backyard.. Deck is yet to be built, however, which is in our Phase 2 of the remodel. Completely gutted the only bathroom in the house to give it a modern yet periodic look. We also added some new updated colors to the house to make it more bright and cozy!

Love the after. Why would anyone ever think that arpet in a kitchen or bathroom is a good idea?

Your before and afters are great! Thank you so much for sharing! You have great vision and created such beautiful spaces. The finishes and design in the bathroom and kitchen are gorgeous - wonderful job! Did you add stairs and a second story or was that already existing? (I ask because of the 2nd photo where it appears you converted a bedroom into a dining area and removed a wall / added stairs) Perhaps it's just the angle that I am misreading.

Thank you all for your kind words. Really appreciate all your comments!

cloudpants: I used this program called Fotor on my computer to create the before and after pictures.

dalma darling: We didn't add any stairs, it was already there but covered before. We only opened the wall and added banister/rail when we moved the dining room from the front of the house to the back so we can have a big kitchen. That is why it looks different in the picture.

Beautiful! One question- was the wall/ opening that your peninsula upper cabinets were attached to a load bearing wall? I have the same situation and am wanting to open up the eat in area to the kitchen.
