You have a gray roof, so with the clapboard accent left on, I would paint the whole house white. Consider a new front storm door…full view.

I would love this simple deck. Transplant the two bushes to the left of the front door. If you can, get a great decking material in the gray of your roof.

You could also just leave the brick alone and do all dark charcoal black for windows and door. It would be easier.

Would you consider changing the front window to a large modern one pane ?
All windows with a good solid wooden frame would be nice.

Grey will give you no contrast with your roof. Your home will "disappear".

Just feel wood and brick should be left in its natural state whenever possible. Once you paint you're buying a maintenance expense. I agree it can look good painted.

It's not your color scheme that is the problem, it's the lack of landscaping. You need landscaping advice so plants will soften the bulky look of your house.

I agree with a few above, changing the siding color could add so much curb appeal to your home! Coupled with the existing brick, the right siding looks amazing!

I've been looking at some ideas. If anyone wants to play with my ideas and show me would It could maybe look like

First was paint the brick dark grey with light siding
Second..light grey with darker siding
Third...brick grey get rid of the siding and put a grey natural stone
Fourth..paint the color two toned like this

Those profiles are for traditional houses, and yours is a very contemporary profile. Unless you are replacing windows, I want to suggest that you search houzz for contemporary exteriors [houzz=] Here's one that used horizontal cedar and popped out the windows and made a great cedar touch over the front door.

You can stain brick with no ill effects, even paint it with masonry paint - consider - miid-tone on the brick like sw cityscape, darker on the siding, like sw grizzle gray and mask / trim out paint the aluminum window sashes black . . rustoleum spray can do this first and then paint out the rest. Use a wide plank where the old siding was - stay horizontal.
