Need help rearranging formal living room

I am trying to figure out how to rearrange this room. We currently have it set up as in the photos, but I feel like half the room is not being properly used. I just can't figure out how to rearrange the furniture to take advantage of the entire space. Any suggestions are appreciated. I would like to keep the same furniture in the room, but am open to other options.

I would put a small dining table in the middle of the unused space and pull the chairs up to it, making that end of the room a small library or study, then add a narrow console behind the couch. I think I would also move the rocker over by the fireplace.

What Beth said....A library table or partnership desk or small breakfast type table to use with your chairs. An area rug. Work on your builtins' arrangements. Voila, lovely room.
