Can you replace the stove and microwave? Sorry, I mean ultimately its your kitchen so it's whatever you want to live with.

Don't worry, it is good it is on a different wall. I think stainless steel goes with anything, I have the same and it looks fine-also different wall.

The most important question is how YOU and your H feel about it. Seems he really wanted stainless! I lived for years with a black oven and microwave, but white fridge, and I can't even remember what color my DW was. I would say it's most likely fine. If you feel it's not blending in well, make sure you have both white and stainless steel in other places, like walls, tiles, and hardware.

Start by replacing the stove knobs to stainless. Check with the manufacturer and see what pieces come in stainless which will fit your stove.

With a few stainless accents, it will look like you purchased it deliberately to be a little different than the norm.
