Hello from a home improvement newbie,

I am not doing a complete bathroom re-model, but I am moving into a new house and trying to update fixtures in a kids' /guest bathroom. I started with very nice polished nickel towel racks (since most of house fixtures are satin nickel - and the new door knobs are satin nickel).

However, I've since discovered I now need to replace the broken shower fixtures. Turns out that the replacement faucet (updating an old Delta model) only comes in polished chrome or stainless steel. And I must stick with that model in order to avoid an entire tile/tub re-model.

So- do I go with polished chrome faucet ( and then chrome fixtures for shower head and spout)? Or just a chrome faucet- but nicer polished nickel faucet/spout to match the towel racks? Or is there another approach to suggest?

I thought I was trying for consistency - but I do like the new towel racks, which were costly and already installed. Is it odd to have polished nickel towel racks and polished chrome in the shower? Other ideas?

I welcome guidance as I am a home improvement newbie!
