Okay, guys, we painted our cabinets the lovely dark mint color on the bottoms and white on the top. We are really struggling with a wall color that complements both the mint and the fake butcher block counter top. (Unfortunately, we cannot change the counter top right now, so it has to stay.) We tried the pictured combo of really pale lavender and darker "Dusted Plum" on the bottom, and I don't think the bottom works at all. Should I paint the lower half to match the top color or do you guys have any ideas for a nice bottom color? I tried a dark gray sample and it didn't look good with the counter top.
