our 2nd floor condo was built many years ago, we bought it 6 months ago and now notice a small 3" crack starting where the ceiling and wall meet by the front door. We will repair/spackle/caulk and keep our eye on it, but what could we check that would cause this? We don't like the "band-aid" approach and would like to know why this happened...
