Replacement air is a big issue with a range that large and powerful. In many places in the United States using a hood more powerful than 400 CFM is illegal. Several makers now have easy-to-fit & affordable gauges and make up air lines to meet codes for higher CFM. You will need make-up air for these hood-fans almost everywhere now and the place where you get your hood fan should be able to supply you with a list of installersand the requirements in your area, you will for sure have to get ahigh CFM hood and probably in stainless
