The green or the gray would look fine, but not the blue.

^^^^There isn't a blue one. There is green which i ruled out, silver, brownish and pearl.
What do you guys think about splashing in some pearl every 8 tiles or so???

The brown one plays well off of the color of the cabinets and the countertop. I think the addition of the pearl to the layout might throw off that feeling. If anything use the silver or green ones to mix up the flow a little bit. And maybe even more than 8 tiles apart, use only a few color splash tiles on each run just to give it a little something extra.

My vote is for the one in picture #3.

I also like the brownish one. I really think it will be most effective not inserting other colors or accents. It plays beautifully off your granite, cabinet and hardware choices.

I would keep the backsplash in the cream family and not silver. It will clash with your cabinets and granite.

We are finaly getting new flooring after 20 years and want to extend the #2 red oak floors we have from the entry to the back of the house. question 1.) will it look ok on the stairs? do I need to put a runner on the stairs? I have a step down living room and then a step up into the dining area. wil that look oK in wood?
The last question is my house is a real dust machine and wonder if Im going to be chasing dusty bunnies all over the house? Should I just do carpet?

The middle blue toned option would add a hint of color to the kitchen.

I would do wood on the stairs. It is a lot easier than vaccuming.

The darker taupe one...in pic three...coordinates best with both granite and cabinets.

I like the one held up in picture 1 and the first and third choice in picture 4.

Is the little guy for rent? He's doing such a good job holding up the tiles.
