Great color - what was it before?

Thank you so much. The walls were sage before which I liked but really wanted a little more drama. Here's a picture that gives an idea...sorry for the clutter on the table!

Love your color. It is so hard to find a red that doesn't absorb all the lite. My favorite is Martha Stewarts bee balm red. Good job!

Bungalowmo the color was matched so there is no labeling per say. When in Italy staying at a B&B we told the the innkeepers how much we loved the color of our room. Upon leaving they presented us with some of the paint in a baby jar. It took six attempts of different paint companies to match and finally had a success!

Well, darn. Wouldn't you know! Guess I'll look at Bee Balm....(curious as to which company achieved the match?!)

If you call Daly's Paint in Bellevue, WA 425.454.3093 and ask about the recent red that was matched for "Larry the Painter" (our painter) I'll bet that will work. It is a woman that works there that was successful for us. Good luck!!

The red is amazing. We have found that red accents any dark wood furnishings and brings life to any smaller space. Beautiful!

The combination of that Red with the dark furniture , black accents and white woodwork is sheer perfection. Not sure if I like the chandelier. A photo does not always do justice and here it is not lit. Does it hang too low? I bet you received many hoo's and haa's from your holiday visitors. I enjoyed your story with the baby-jar filled with the paint. You get my well deserved congratulations.

Any place like Home Depot, Lowes. All can match. You can use a what ever you want, to get just the right color. I've taken pillow cases, flowers, clothes. A picture in a book. They put item in computer, and get what you want.

Nancy that is typically correct hands down - but it was not in this case. Trust me, we went to all of the box stores first. :) they couldn't come close!

I never gravitate towards red's but I have to say that with the white wainscoting this looks fabulous. And those windows are so adorable. I love this space. Nice work putting your vision together! Hope you enjoy endless dinner parties!
