My kitchen attaches to my living room – both are getting an overhaul. The kitchen will be a combination of white and slate gray cabinets (contemporary) accented with something like Sherwin Williams' parakeet 6711 or frolic 6703. I would also like the living room paint color to be a dark grayish color – currently leaning toward Sherwin Williams Porpoise 7047. It has a bit of brown in the gray that I feel warms up the room a bit. Every shade of gray that I start to like for the kitchen cabinets is too much on the same shade level as porpoise. I want them to be different, but to contrast well. Help!!
