I bought a house with all white and ended up buying new appliances and upgrading to a brushed stainless finish, but only because I knew that a kitchen remodel was probably much farther down the road. This will tide me over for several years. That said, if you were going to remodel anytime in the next few years, I'd wait until you were doing the whole thing.

White appliances are making a comeback - people are growing tiered of the stainless steel and the keeping them fingerprint free.
