Should I go with a range or double oven?

I am designing our next house and can't decide. Should I go the double oven route with a separate cooktop? Or should I consolidate and do the range with ovens underneath? I am leaning toward the Thermador brand. Has anyone had both and have a preference? I currently have the double oven scenario. Just wondering if I'd regret moving to the range.

If you have the space in your new home, go with double ovens! Thermador makes amazing ranges with ovens, as well as cook tops. You can't go wrong. If you do entertain a lot or bake frequently, stick with your double ovens. You will be the envy of most cooks!

I've had both and would not go back to a range. I love the fact that the double wall ovens keep food at an easier viewing and maneuvering height, and the storage under a cook top for pans. Congrats on the new house!

If you do not want to lose counter space with a stacked double oven, you can also do a separate wall oven below a counter, then add a range to the mix and you will only have to purchase two appliances instead of three... depending on the amount of space you have this can be a win/win combo.
