Just had a question about the trim around the windows!

Love the color combo! Absolutely stunning! If you wouldn't mind sharing, is the cast stone trim around the windows also the "buff" color? We were planning on using "sandstone" but whatever you used is beautiful! Thanks so much!

Yes, this was buff cast stone on this house. Be sure and ask to see full size samples so you can make the best choice as cast stone is like carpet or yarn in that its color varies from one production run to the next.

This house is amazing. I am currently building a stucco home and want cast stone window surrounds. Everyone around my area says because of the weight of the cast stone it can not be done with stucco/dryvit . Do you have any idea how they tied the surround in ?? Thanks!

Our stucco applications are a true masonry product. They are a 3 coat application. When it comes to securing the cast stone there are a few difference applications and it seams every cast stone contractor has their own opinion on which technique is best. However, it seems to come down to three basic approaches 1) Slot cuts 2) Dowel Pins or Screws or 3) In Beds or Threaded Inserts.

I did a quick BLOG with more detail here: http://www.verandafinehomes.com/2014/02/securing-cast-stone/
