We are making decisions on our craftsman home being renovated. I would like to lighten up the wall with the fireplace and bookshelfs. I am planning on having the back of the built- in bookshelf
painted but leaving all the rest of original dark wood stain. the back is wainscot. My question is
should I paint it the same color I choose for the wall or something different to make it pop. The wall color will be a very light gray almost into the white.
