When I moved into the house, I wallpapered this bedroom with a golden color embossed wallpaper pattern. (It looked a little like tooled leather). After I grew tired of it I painted it ivory and wiped some of the paint away in raised areas which is where you see the swirl design come through. Then a few years later I decided to tea stain over that (Ralph Lauren Glaze tinted in Tea Stain). I started at the top and let it get lighter as I went down, making it look a little like old water staining.
