Honestly, I kind of like the color it is. But you could always do a warmer grey and that would look good.

Would first try adding color. You have a large, beautiful room, and you're right, it's looking washed out. Even, your cut flowers are white. Think the roman shades will add a lot, if you do them in a color. Personally I like red in a kitchen. Would also add color to the white drapes, either a block of color at the top or the hem. Where you have the chalkboard would be a great wall for art. If you really want to paint, could warm it up with gray or a darker beige, and still add color.

You've made some lovely choices! But you do need some color. I think you could do almost anything neutral on the walls or leave as is and use color on your window treatments. Do you already have color in accessories or maybe dinner ware that could be your inspiration? Do you like earth tones... Orange, brown, tan. Or something that could really pop... Red, blue or green? Good luck! I will be interested to see what you end up with as my new kitchen cabinets will be very similar.

Your space is beautiful! I would choose a colour that you like, or tie in another colour that you've used elsewhere in house for some roman blinds on the kitchen windows, and then some panels in the eating in a co-ordinating fun print. Maybe a colourful fruit bowl or cake stand? These things would be easy to change when you want to change things up in the future. or

I think too strong a color would be too much for you, since you are obviously color shy. I'd go with a soft green or blue with pattern on your windows to give your room some color. if you do this and like it, then I'd consider painting the walls the same shade.

I have a very very similar kitchen. Even the floor looks the same - honed marble? Mine is the same pattern and tile shape. Anyway, I think it's beige with a pink undertone - mine is. I did revere pewter and I really liked it - it just made it look very current and blends in well. I'll see if I can find a photo.

Reed Romans with a texture and color that will pick up the wood color in your island. My first impression is a warm yet brighter yellow. What ever you choose pull that color in your accessories on the counters. Remember to include a couple of real plants on the counters, but never above your cool upper cabs. Do not hang your Romans so that it stacks in the light of your window. Cheers!

Yellow when we first moved in and then current revere pewter. Both the yellow and gray worked I thought. The yellow just didn't flow with my furniture. We have similar finishes so I hope this helps!

Revere Pewter is an amazing color it gives you cool sometimes and warm other times, its really a very nice color for a kitchen

I used this blue and cream Ikat print in a neutral kitchen with warm wood cabinetry. Paint is BM Standish White.

To warm up your kitchen you can start by changing your drapes and go with a gorgeous print or a wow rich color, also hanging them from the ceiling would look much nicer, a large matching carpet underneath the table would make a huge difference and also nice prints on the wall would look great. This should do it! if you still find it to plain, then paint the whole kitchen. (Also changing the back splash is not a bad idea)
