Starting Over with Guest Bedroom, but still need help!

I originally posted regarding my guest room and working off bedding I had. I went with a blue for the walls, etc. and ever since cannot seem to get anything to look right. I think it's the blue. I have a couple of pillows that I made a few years ago and laid them next to the upholstered headboard I have and I fell in love. This is what I want.

So, everything is going (I have another area I can use the old bedding). I am keeping the upholstered headboard; already made two cornice boards for the windows on either side of bed (a curve to match the headboard) and going to add natural woven shades underneath. I want the bedding to be neutral and not sure how to pull the room together. I have my main fabric (posted) and want to pull off of that - bedding, paint colors, accent fabric. I also want to add an accent chair to the room. How would you use this fabric throughout the room? Would you use it on the cornice boards with black trim, accent pillow on bed and chair in same? Or, solid color on cornice boards with rope trim in floral fabric I have? Just not sure how to pull it together.

First pic is close-up of fabric. Second pic is more true to color and was a banding I used when I made drapes before.
